1. Who we are

Injector Academy is a business name of GOLD COAST AESTHETICS, a California professional corporation in Costa Mesa, California, which operates the academy. Injector Academy trains licensed registered nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants in Botox and dermal filler techniques. In these terms, "Injector Academy," "we," "us" and "our" mean Injector Academy and GOLD COAST AESTHETICS.

These Terms & Conditions apply to our public website (www.injectoracademytraining.com), our applicant and student portal (my.injectoracademytraining.com), and the text messages and emails we send. By using the website or the portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

2. Using the website and portal

You may use the website and portal to learn about our classes, apply, book an interview, and take part in classes you are enrolled in. You agree not to:

  • use them for anything unlawful, or to give us information that is false or belongs to someone else;
  • try to get into accounts, pages or data that are not yours, or interfere with how the website or portal works;
  • copy, scrape or collect content or data from them with automated tools;
  • upload anything harmful, such as viruses, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

Class dates, prices and other details on the website can change. The details that apply to you are the ones in your enrollment agreement (section 5).

3. Accounts

Some parts of the portal need an account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in details private and do not share your account with anyone else; you are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used your account, call or text us right away at (949) 998-3334. We may suspend or close an account that is misused or that breaks these terms.

4. Applications and interviews

Enrollment starts with an application and an admissions interview. Applying, booking an interview or completing an interview does not guarantee admission to any class. We decide whether to offer you a place based on your application, your interview and your professional license. Some training, including hands-on training, needs a current, active license that qualifies you for it; we check license information and will tell you during the process what your license allows. Interview times are offered as available, and a booked time is held for you only.

5. Class enrollment and payments

If you are approved, we send you a private enrollment link. You enroll by signing our enrollment agreement and paying as it describes. The enrollment agreement you sign at enrollment governs your class, including the price, how and when you pay, the schedule, attendance and what happens if a class changes. If the enrollment agreement and these terms disagree, the enrollment agreement controls.

Card payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. If you choose financing, you apply with the financing company directly, and its terms apply to that financing.

6. Refunds, cancellations and transfers

Refunds, cancellations and transfers are handled as your enrollment agreement says. Nothing on the website or in the portal changes those terms. If you have a question about them, call or text us at (949) 998-3334.

7. Course materials and intellectual property

The website, the portal and our course materials, including videos, recordings, slides, handouts, written guides and our name and logo, belong to GOLD COAST AESTHETICS or to the people who license them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

When you enroll, you may use the course materials for your own education. You may not copy, record, share, sell, publish or otherwise distribute them, or share your portal access with anyone else, without our written permission.

8. No medical advice

The content on our website and in our portal is general education for licensed healthcare professionals. It is not medical advice for any person and is not a substitute for your own clinical judgment. You are responsible for practicing within the scope of your license and the rules of your licensing board and state. Completing a class does not by itself authorize you to perform any treatment, and we do not promise any job, income or business result.

9. Other websites and services

Our website and portal may link to or use services run by other companies, such as payment, financing, video and booking providers. Those companies' own terms and privacy policies apply to their services, and we are not responsible for them.

10. SMS Terms

These SMS Terms cover the Injector Academy text message program. The program is run by Injector Academy, a business name of GOLD COAST AESTHETICS.

  • Program name: Injector Academy.
  • Sent from: +1 (949) 998-3334, the academy's phone number.
  • Messages you may receive: interview reminders, class reminders, schedule changes, enrollment and payment notices, replies to messages you send us, and occasional class announcements and offers if you separately opted in to marketing messages.
  • How you opt in: by checking an optional box on the interview booking page or the class sign-up page of our portal. The boxes are never checked for you, and there is a separate box for marketing messages. The exact wording and screenshots are on our Text Message Opt-In page.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to texts to apply, book an interview, enroll or pay.
  • Message frequency varies. It depends on your interview and class schedule, and on whether you opted in to marketing messages.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's normal rates apply to messages you send and receive. We do not charge for text messages.
  • Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will send no more texts to your number.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call us at (949) 998-3334.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

11. Disclaimers

We work to keep the website and portal accurate and available, but we provide them "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that they will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, GOLD COAST AESTHETICS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the website or portal. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the website or portal is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some laws do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Your class is also governed by your enrollment agreement.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms, the website or the portal will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, unless your enrollment agreement says otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also tell you by email or with a notice on our website before it takes effect. Continuing to use the website or portal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
