expect. Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out and we'll be happy
to help.
Our courses are designed for licensed medical professionals
including RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs, DOs, DDS, and DMDs. A valid, active
medical license is required to enroll.
Do I need prior aesthetic experience to enroll?
No prior aesthetic experience is required! Our courses are
specifically designed for beginners. As long as you have a valid
healthcare license (RN, NP, PA, or MD), you can enroll. We'll
provide comprehensive training to help you build a strong
foundation in aesthetics.
How do I enroll in a course?
Simply visit the Courses page to choose your program, then click
"Enroll Now" on your preferred date. You'll be directed to our
secure booking system to complete your registration. A deposit may
be required to secure your seat.
Can I enroll if I'm from out of state?
Absolutely. We regularly welcome students from across the country.
Many graduates travel to Southern California for training and
return home ready to inject. We recommend checking your state's
specific requirements for aesthetic injectors before enrolling.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid healthcare
license to enroll. There is no upper age limit — we've trained
everyone from new graduates to seasoned practitioners making a
career pivot.
How far in advance should I book my course?
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance. Our small
class sizes mean dates fill up quickly, especially weekend
sessions. You can check availability on our Upcoming Dates page
and secure your seat with a deposit.
Course Details
How many students are in each class?
We maintain a maximum of 6 students per session to ensure
personalized attention and ample hands-on practice time with
Karina. This boutique setting allows for direct mentorship and
individualized feedback throughout your training.
Are live models really guaranteed?
Yes. Every student injects live models under direct instructor
supervision. We do not use rubber pads or simulation — 100% of our
hands-on training is on real patients. This is central to our
training philosophy.
Should I take individual courses or the weekend bundle?
The weekend bundle provides the most comprehensive training and
saves you $399. It covers neurotoxins and fillers — giving you a
complete foundation to start your aesthetic practice. However, if
you want to focus on a specific modality first, individual courses
are available.
Do you offer CME credits?
We do not currently offer formal CME credits. However, every
graduate receives a Certificate of Completion that is widely
recognized by medical spas, aesthetic practices, and employers
throughout the industry.
What's included in the course tuition?
Your tuition includes all hands-on training, live model practice,
training materials, digital portfolio of your work, and product
supplies during training. You'll leave with everything you need to
start treating patients confidently.
Pricing & Payment
How much do the courses cost?
Tox Fundamentals and Filler Foundations are each $1,699. The 2-Day
Intensive Weekend (both courses) is $2,999 — saving you nearly
$400 compared to enrolling in each course separately.
Are payment plans available?
Yes, we partner with CareCredit and Cherry to offer flexible
financing. CareCredit provides special financing options accepted
at 250,000+ locations. Cherry offers quick 60-second applications
with no impact on your credit score to check eligibility. Both
allow you to spread your tuition across manageable monthly
payments.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
We understand plans change. Cancellations made at least 14 days
before the course date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations within 14 days may receive a credit toward a future
course date. Please contact us directly for any scheduling
changes.
What if I need to reschedule after booking?
We'll work with you. If you need to switch dates, contact us as
soon as possible. Rescheduling 14+ days before your course is free
— we'll transfer your deposit to any available future date. Within
14 days, a $150 rescheduling fee applies.
Do I need malpractice insurance during the course?
No — students are covered under our clinic's policy during
training. However, we strongly recommend obtaining your own
malpractice insurance before treating patients independently after
graduation. We can guide you toward recommended providers.
Training Day
What time do courses start and end?
All courses run from 8:30 AM to approximately 5:30 PM. We
recommend arriving 15 minutes early to settle in. Lunch and light
refreshments are provided.
Where is the training held?
All courses are held at Gold Coast Aesthetics, our boutique
medical aesthetics clinic in Southern California. The exact
address and parking information are provided upon enrollment.
What should I bring on training day?
Just bring yourself and your professional license. We provide all
training materials, workbooks, practice supplies, catered lunch,
and a take-home practice kit. We recommend wearing comfortable
professional attire.
Is lunch provided?
Yes, a catered lunch is provided on all course days along with
light refreshments throughout the day. If you have dietary
restrictions, please let us know in advance and we'll accommodate
you.
Is there a dress code?
We recommend business casual or medical attire — scrubs are
perfectly fine. You'll be moving between classroom and clinical
settings, so wear something comfortable and professional.
Closed-toe shoes are required in the treatment area.
Can I bring my own model to practice on?
We provide all live models for the course, so there's no need to
bring your own. This ensures a consistent training experience and
allows our instructors to carefully select appropriate cases for
each student's skill level.
After Graduation
Do I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes. Every graduate receives a Certificate of Completion
recognized by medical spas, aesthetic practices, and employers
across the industry. This certificate demonstrates your training
in neurotoxin and/or dermal filler techniques.
Is there ongoing support after graduation?
Yes! You'll receive access to our student community and are
eligible for our optional 3-day mentorships and 1:1 training
sessions to help you continue refining your skills as you build
your practice.
Can I start injecting immediately after the course?
Many graduates begin injecting within weeks of completing their
course. However, requirements vary by state and practice setting.
We recommend checking your state's scope of practice regulations
and obtaining appropriate malpractice insurance before treating
patients.
Do you help with job placement?
While we don't offer formal job placement, our alumni network is
strong and our reputation opens doors. Many local medical spas and
aesthetic practices actively seek Injector Academy graduates.
We're happy to provide guidance on finding opportunities.
