1. Who sends the texts

Text messages come from Injector Academy, a business name of GOLD COAST AESTHETICS, Costa Mesa, California. They are sent from +1 (949) 998-3334, the academy's phone number, and every text starts with the name Injector Academy.

This page shows exactly what a person sees and agrees to before we send them any text message.

2. Where people opt in

People opt in on our student portal, my.injectoracademytraining.com, in two places:

  • The interview booking page, my.injectoracademytraining.com/interview/admissions. Applicants answer a few questions and then reach the "Your details" step, which has the mobile number field and the texting checkbox shown below.
  • The class sign-up page for a class (my.injectoracademytraining.com/signup/ followed by the class name). Applicants approved after their interview open it from the private sign-up link we email them. Below the name and mobile number fields it has one checkbox for texts about the class and a separate checkbox for texts about new classes and offers.

The mobile number is optional. The texting box turns on only after a mobile number is typed in (until then the page says "Add a mobile number to turn this on.").

The other box on this step is for email only and does not sign anyone up for texts. Its words are: "Email me news and offers about new classes from Injector Academy. This is optional and not required to apply. Unsubscribe at any time."

4. The class sign-up checkboxes

The two boxes are separate, so a person can agree to texts about their class without agreeing to marketing texts, or the other way around.

5. Optional and unchecked

  • Every texting checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. We never check a box for anyone.
  • The form can be sent without checking any box: booking an interview and signing up for a class work the same either way.
  • The mobile number field is optional too.
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

6. What texts people receive

  • Interview reminders and changes to an interview time.
  • Class reminders and schedule changes.
  • Enrollment and payment notices.
  • Replies to messages they send us.
  • News and offers about new classes, only for people who checked the separate marketing box.

The first text to a number also says "Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

7. Frequency, cost, STOP and HELP

  • Message frequency varies. It depends on the interview and class schedule, and on whether the person opted in to marketing texts.
  • Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for text messages.
  • Reply STOP to cancel at any time. One message confirms the opt-out, and after that we send no more texts to that number.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call us at (949) 998-3334.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
